Can I bring a date/friend?

All invited guests will be listed on the formal invitation. If your invitation is addressed to you “and date” you are welcome to bring a date. Otherwise, we kindly ask you to attend unaccompanied. Due to limited space at our venue, we can only accommodate our closest family and friends. We thank you for understanding!

What will the weather be like?

The big day takes place towards the end of Summer so we expect it to be warm and breezy. We will post the forecast the week of but our prediction, based on last years weather at that time of year, is a high 95 and low 70. Only the ceremony will be outside while the sun is still out, and sunset begins around 6:30pm during cocktail hour so it’ll be the perfect time for Photo ops!

What time should we arrive?

The Ceremony starts at 5pm sharp, so please arrive 15-20 minutes early to engage the welcome table, drop off any gifts (if you brought any), find a seat at the ceremony, and mingle with friends and family.

How does parking work?

If you are driving, when you pull into Sunset Gardens there will be a parking attendant to guide you to the back parking lot. If you have a little too much to drink throughout the evening, you are allowed to leave your car parked overnight, but it has to be picked up by 10am the following morning.

If you are using Uber, Lyft, or taxi, you may enter straight through the main lobby, or through the side gate towards the Terrace Room.

What takes place during cocktail hour?

Following the Ceremony guests will be directed to the Terrace room for cocktail hour where there will be an open bar, games, activities, and hor d’oeurves being served. We encourage you to take this opportunity to meet everyone who is here to celebrate with us, share stories, and socialize! After all, you are all our favorite people!

What is being served for dinner at the reception?

After cocktail hour, please make your way to the Garden Room for the reception where an open bar and buffet dinner will be served. What’s on the menu is to be determined. Check back here closer to the event for further details. Table assignments will be posted in the Terrace Room during cocktail hour.

Can I take photos/videos during the wedding?

Sure! However, we kindly ask that you and your device(s) are not blocking or in the aisle during the ceremony. Also, please have all ringers and flash off. Thank you!
